We would like to inform you about amusing / interesting places to visit during your stay in Bali.
There are many attractions, we will mention here some. You can always consult your driver for more great places to
visit.
Water Park Gran Surya Seririt
Gran Surya Water Park is an amusement park with water attractions within a 15
minute drive from Villa Cerah. It is in the region's the first and largest in Bali. The park
is a fully equipped water playground for all ages. There are many facilities that
provide comfort and satisfaction for the visitors.
Besides the water attractions it also offers culinary
tours, a pool bar, a playground for babies, a
restaurant with a varied menu, a cafeteria and a
boutique with a range of swimwear, accessories and
souvenirs.
For an entrance fee of Rp. 50,000 (about € 3.00),
you can enjoy all the attractions in Gran Surya Water
Park.
Buddhist Temple
In the village of Banjar you find the Buddhist monastery "Brahma Vihara Arama" from
where you have an amazing view. This view is unique in Bali and even in the whole
of Indonesia. If you plan to visit, you should wear long pants or a sarong. If you are
not dressed appropriately, there are sarongs at the entrance you can use for a small
donation to the monastery
Waterfalls.
You’ll find Gitgit about 10 km South of Singaraja. This waterfall is one of the famous tourist
destinations in Bali and located about 1.5 km West of the village of Gitgit. It is set at height land
about 300 meters above sea level.
You can also visit the waterfall Sekumpul at a distance of 45 minutes driving from Lovina. After
going up 350 steps, you see the breathtaking waterfalls of Sekumpul.
Menjangan Island (Deer Island)
Menjangan Island is a small island, located 5 miles to the north-west of Bali island
and is part of the Indonesian Archipelago. "Menjangan" in Indonesian means "Deer".
The name was given by the local population observing wild deer herds swimming to
the island every spring and covering a distance of approx 1.2 miles.
From the villa it is about 1 hour driving to Menjangan Island. Then about a half hour
by boat. It is a popular diving and snorkeling paradise. On the way to or from the
island you can also visit the National Nature Reserve Park, which lies near
Menjangan.
For a professional diving and / or snorkel (s), please contact with several diving
schools in the area of Lovina.
If you go to Menjangan we advise you to bring water shoes and go there early
morning. The water is still fairly quiet. In the course of the day, there are more waves.
MAYONG VILLAGE TRACKING EXPERIENCE
With a guide you will discover the beautiful landscape of Bali. There are different

Bedugul and Lake Bratan
High in the mountains, about 30 km from Singaraja, in an area of unspoilt natural
beauty, you’ll find the town of Bedugul. The town itself shows not much detail, but
from there you can visit the very popular Puru Ulun Danu, which is located in Lake
Bratan. It is a very much-photographed temple on the west side of the lake.
Ubud and Mas
The town of Ubud is an artists' village and is labeled as one of the largest arts and cultural
centre of Bali. It has thus a large tourist industry. Here you will find various markets and you will
also find many paintings.
In Ubud you’ll find also Monkey Forest. the sacred nature
area. It houses a temple and a number of 350 Macaque
monkeys.
The town Mas is located near Ubud. It is known by the typical
style of the carving. So, there is a lot of art to see an to buy.
Temples
For those who are interested in the cultural and historical aspects, take the main road
to Singaraja to the town Sangsit. Here is the temple Pura Beji built.
Pura Beji represents a perfect example of the
northern rococo style of temple carving, with strange
off-angle symmetry.
The temple was built of easily carved soft pink
sandstone and its walls are decorated with
sculptures of demons, snakes and devils.
After a walk of a few minutes north-east you reach the temple Pura Dalem.
Air Panas (Banjar Hot Springs)
The Hot Springs 'Air Panas' of Banjar, North Bali, are situated in the middle of the jungle. They
are set in a beautiful tropical garden. It has several basis, one of which is ideal for swimming.
There are water jets that will give you a reviving massage. The water is of volcanic origin and
its temperature is of an agreeable, constant 37 degrees Celsius.
The water contains sulphur and this is especially ideal for those who suffer from rheumatic
diseases. There are showers, as well as cabins where you can change clothes. Furthermore
there is a small restaurant.
Dolphin Spotting
Many dolphins are swimming along the coast of Bali in the morning between 06.00
and 09.00 because of the large shrimp population. The chance that you see these
animals is 80%. Through the staff you can book a fishing boat the next day at 06.00,
am at the villa. So you can get in front of the villa in the boat. The price in about
100,000 rph per person. You can then also go snorkeling, but keep in mind that you
will be hoisted afterwards from the water in the boat. The snorkeling is not included in
the price and if you will do not to be surprised, discuss this in advance with the
boatman.
Botanical Garden
In the mountains around Bedugul you will find a botanical garden of 150 hectares.
This Bedugul Botanical Garden is located at the Lake Bratan. You can see there
more than 1100 species of trees and plants including 300 species of orchids and
more than 100 species of cacti.
National Park
Taman Bali Barat National Park encompasses over 76,000 hectare of which a scale
of 50,000 hectare is forested. You'll find wild cattle, yacks chipmunk, leopards,
monkeys, snakes and many bird species.
Golf
About 1 hour away on a beautifully landscaped 1,142 meters altitude 18 hole golf
course (Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club). For whom who wants to escape the
heat of the lowlands, here in perhaps more pleasant temperatures is a place to hit a
ball. This golf course is beautifully situated against a mountainside.

Batur Vulcano
You can join a guided climb up the volcano. You will be picked up at the villa at 03.00
in the morning. At the foot of the mountain you will climb the mountain with a guide.
After the climb you can see a beautiful sunrise and views on the 3100 meter high
mountain Gunung Agung, a sacred mountain for the Balinese.
Turtles Care
On the beach of Pemuteran is a special project: a turtle care. You can see how the
eggs are hatched and the baby turtles swim in tanks with seawater.
With a donation of a few euros you can plant a baby turtle in the sea!. (Before 10:00

In Pemuteran you can snorkeling and diving from the beach. It is also interesting that
Permuteran has a project, where the artificial reef off the coast is restored.

Just 4.5 km away from the Villa on the Seririrt to Lovina route you will find this great Krisna Amusement Park with
many attractions such as:
